

Spilled Wine Weigela is a dwarf spreading deciduous shrub with dense wavy dark black-purple foliage. Blooms of hot pink funnel-shaped flowers begin in spring and sporadically again in summer. Fall color and fruit are insignificant. Best flowering and color with full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Can tolerate some light shade.
