Blonde Ambition is a small clump-forming grass native to central North America. The wiry blue-grey leaf blades turn golden brown in fall, and may sometimes gain a red-orange hue. Small chartreuse flowers rise on 2½ foot stems in summer which gives way to blond seed heads that last until fall. Blonde Ambition prefers well-drained soils in full sun.
