Diervilla lonicera 'Copper' - Copper Low Bush Honeysuckle

Copper Low Bush Honeysuckle is a vigorous native deciduous shrub with upright stems branches. Its broadly lanced green leaves emerge coppery-red before maturing to green and turns orange-red in fall. The small tubular yellow flowers bloom at the stem tips from late spring to early summer.  Best color in full sun and well-drained soil.  Tolerates deer and drought.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Water Regularly.  No serious pests or diseases, but watch for leaf spot and powdery mildew.  

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Wildlife Gardens, Woodland Gardens, and Containers.
