Fragaria x ananassa 'Earliglow' - Earliglow Strawberry

Earliglow Strawberry is a compact herbaceous perennial with good runners that has a heavy production of sweet bright red berries in June.  The coarse-toothed deep green foliage is coated in white flowers in spring.  Blooms best with full sun and fertile well-drained soil. Earliglow is self-fertile with good disease resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Susceptible to anthracnose, leaf spots, rots, wilts, powdery mildew and blights. Watch for spider mites and aphids.  Leaf scorch may occur in hot summer climates.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Naturalized Areas, Edible Gardens, and Containers.
