Hydrangea paniculata 'AJ14' - Early Evolution Hydrangea

Early Evolution Hydrangea is a dwarf deciduous shrub noted for its early and exceptionally long bloom time- 5 months!.  These airy panicles begin budding in late spring and open lime green before turning white, and slowly blushes into deep pink by fall.  While can tolerate full sun, its best blooms are in part sun and rich, moist well-drained acidic soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter.  If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew.  Aphids are occasional problems.
