Japanese Garden Juniper is a slow-growing coniferous shrub with trailing branches that makes an excellent ground cover.  The spiny aromatic needle-like foliage is blue-green to grey-green and earns purplish hues in winter.  Best planted in full sun and well-drained soils.  Drought Tolerant once established.  The cones often do not produce on this cultivar.
