Lady's Mantle is a clumping herbaceous perennial that forms a long-stemmed basal mound. The light to blue green circular foliage is scalloped and has 9-11 lobes with soft downy hairs. Small spreading clusters of star-shaped chartreuse flowers bloom in summer and can experience another lighter bloom if deadheaded. Grows best with afternoon shade in the South and well-drained soils. Lady's Mantle tends to keep beads of moisture after a rain, creating additional ornamental value.
