Little Princess Spirea

Little Princess Spirea is a compact rounded deciduous shrub with oval sharp-toothed medium green leaves that gains attractive copper-bronze tones in fall.  Flat-topped clusters of pale pink flowers cover the plant in later spring to summer. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils.  Removed spent flowers to encourage additional bloom.  

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Flowers on new growth, to prune as needed in winter or early spring.  Potential issues include leaf spot, blight, root rot, powdery mildew, aphids, rollers, and scale.
LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Naturalized Areas, Wildlife Garden, Foundation Plantings, Hedges, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS:  Rose, Weigela, Coneflower
