Magnus Echinacea is a freely branching native perennial with strong upright stems that do not need staking and deep green foliage.  The large fragrant flowers with broad rose-purple petals and red-bronze cones bloom through summer.  Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils.  The flowers attract butterflies and bees, and spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed.  Drought tolerant.
