Maz Frei Bloody Cranesbill

Maz Fei Bloody Cranesbill is a low-growing semi-evergreen herbaceous perennial with trailing stems holding rich, deeply lobed green foliage that turns crimson  after the first frost.  Brilliant magenta purple flowers bloom come late spring.  Flowers best in full sun and moist, well-drained soils. 

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  If foliage declines in hot summers, it can be lightly sheared back after flowering to revitalize the plant.  Some susceptibility to leaf spots and rusts

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Rock Gardens, Foundational Plantings, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Coneflower, Blanket Flower, Blue Fescue
