Apache Rose Switch Grass is a dramatic warm season ornamental grass with dense upright habit of narrow gray green that earns red tips in fall .  The airy seed panicles bloom in late summer and turn rose in fall.  Grows best with full sun and average well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established. Apache Rose is very sturdy and will keep its form in heavy rain and through winter
