Sensational!® Lavender

Sensational! Lavender is a woody evergreen perennial with a compact habit and highly aromatic grey green leaves that emerge bright silver. The stems end with plump clusters of fragrant rich violet flowers from mid summer into fall.  Grows best in full sun and dry to medium well drained alkaline soils.  Drought resistant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Low Maintenance.  Well drained soils is essential to prevent root rot- mulch with rocks to combat high humidity.  Susceptible to leaf and root rot.  Deadheading will promote continued blooms.  Toxic to pets.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Water Gardens, Rock Gardens, Xeriscape Gardens, Naturalized Areas, Foundation Plantings, and Containers.
