Silver Septre Sedge

Silver Septre Sedge is a shade loving evergreen grass with narrow arching green foliage with yellow margins.  Small greenish-brown flower spikelets on triangular stems bloom in mid spring.  Prefers part sun and moist well-drained soils.  

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Do not let soils dry out.  Cut foliage to the ground and remove it in late winter.  

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Wildlife Gardens, Naturalized Areas, Native Gardens, Rock Gardens, and Containers.
