Sweet Woodruff

Sweet Woodruff is a low-spreading herbaceous perennial  with aromatic dark green lance-shaped foliage on square stems.  Loose cymes of fragrant white flowers bloom in masses come late spring.  Flowers best in and moist to wet well-drained soils. As the fragrance intensifies as it dries, Sweet Woodruff is often used in potpourris.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. No serious pests or diseases.  Foliage may go dormant in summer if planted in sun or soils dry.
