Thuja occidentalis 'Jantar' - Amber Gold Arborvitae

Amber Gold Arborvitae is a slow-growing compact evergreen shrub with a dense upright pyramidal to conical habit and soft flat sprays of rich green scale-like foliage that is golden yellow where the sun touches and becomes a mellow amber gold as the weather cools.  Best foliage color in full sun and well-drained soils.  Heat and drought tolerant once established. 

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  No pruning necessary.  Leaf blight and leaf miners may be occasional problems.  Watch for canker.  
LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Naturalized Areas, Woodland Gardens, Rock Gardens, Ponds and Streams, Foundation Plantings, and Hedges.
